This is a handmade product so naturally has character imperfections which is an ode to the slow handmade weaving process. This shade has been recovered over an up-cycled frame with a spacious coverage meaning there are gaps in between each strand to create a lighter, more translucent effect. You will also notice a small centre knot inside the frame where the yarn naturally begins and ends. When illuminated, this becomes subtly visible- a gentle, beautiful marker of true craftsmanship.
