Slice Shades was born out of a passion for colour, textiles and interiors. After working in the fashion industry for over a decade and renovating my own home, I couldn’t find lighting that felt considered enough so I started making it. Drawing on my years of design experience, I created lampshades and lighting to bring bold, structured stripes and premium craftsmanship to every space.

The slow made process
Every shade is hand-wrapped loop-by-loop, making the process
just as considered as the design. It’s a slow-made approach built to last and
rooted in circular thinking. Wrapping the pieces this way gives the bold
stripes a clean, seamless flow, bringing beautiful slices of colour to lampshade.

I curate regular ready-to-buy drops featuring limited runs on upcycled frames and I offer a fully collaborative bespoke service for custom commissions. It's all about creating something that fits your space perfectly, whether that means waiting for the next limited release or designing a one-off piece together.
