Every Slice Shade is individually crafted one strand at a time in our studio. This is a handmade product so naturally has character imperfections which is an ode to the slow handmade weaving process. This shade has been recovered over an up-cycled frame and you will also notice a small centre knot inside the frame where the yarn naturally begins and ends. When illuminated, this becomes subtly visible- a gentle, beautiful marker of true craftsmanship. See photo's for more details.
During transit, the yarn strands may shift slightly. Simply guide the strands back into alignment with your fingertips upon unboxing to restore the clean stripe spacing.
Every shade is professionally treated with a premium fire-retardant spray.
To keep your shade cool and protect the vibrancy of the yarn fibres, we highly recommend using a modern LED candle bulb (or a maximum 40W equivalent).
