Every Slice Shade is individually crafted one strand at a time in our studio. This shade has been recovered over an up-cycled frame and you will notice a small centre knot inside the where the yarn naturally begins and ends. When illuminated, this becomes subtly visible- a gentle, beautiful marker of true craftsmanship. See photo's for more details.
During transit, the yarn strands may shift slightly. Simply guide the strands back into alignment with your fingertips upon unboxing to restore the clean stripe spacing.
Every shade is treated with fire-retardant spray.
To keep your shade cool and protect the vibrancy of the yarn fibres, we highly recommend using a modern LED candle bulb (or a maximum 40W equivalent).
